What is Skill ?

Skills are abilities and competencies that enable an individual to perform tasks effectively.

They are developed through learning, practice, and experience. Skills are essential for personal growth, professional success, and achieving career goals.

Skill is an ability that you need in order to do a job, an activity, etc. well .
" An ability to do something well, specially because of trail,practice, etc is known as skill."
Classification of Skills
Soft Skills
• Soft skills are character traits and interpersonal skills that characterize a person's relationships with other people.
• Soft skills are attributes and personality traits that help employees interact with others and succeed in the workplace.
• Unlike hard skills that are learned, soft skills are innate traits that are harder to develop through traditional classroom learning.
• They are also much harder to measure and evaluate objectively.

- Communication Skills
- Leadership skills - Ability to guide and inspire others
- Teamwork skills - Collaboration and cooperation
- Problem-solving skills - Finding effective solutions
- Critical thinking skills - Analytical and logical reasoning
