VIRTUAL REALITY & AUGMENTED REALITY (AR)

VIRTUAL REALITY 

Virtual means “near or implied" Reality mean the state of  thing at they actually exist” 

Thus, virtual reality is nothing but near reality. 

Today the virtual reality technology applied to engineering, advanced , Field of medicine, education,  design, training and entertainment. 

VR is a computer interface which tries to mimic the real World  beyond the Slate monitor to give an immersive 3D  visual experiment. 

TYPES OF VR 

1) Non-immersive simulation – 

Only some of user sensor stimulated  

The user is still aware of the reality outside the virtual simulation. 

2) Semi- immersive Simulation – 

The user is partially but not fully immersed in the Virtual environment.

3) Fully immersive Simulation –

Accessories such as Use of head mounted display and input devices  stimulate all the senses of the user. 

WHAT IS HMD ? [HEAD MOUNTED DISPLAY] 

It is a device which contains a display mounted in front of user eyes to provide Full immersive VR  Experience. 

 

AUGMENTED REALITY (AR) 

Augmented reality is a technology that takes the world around you  And add virtual content on top such that it look likes it is actually  there in the real world. 

The main reason behind AR is to super emphasize virtual objects and  information over a real world environment in real time to make the  user experience more immersive.
